Andrew J. Berman | Advisor

Mr. Berman is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in the alternative investment space, specializing in the trade of physical commodities and debt structuring for project finance. He entered the industry as an analyst at HBE Ventures, a venture spearheaded by the legendary trader, Andy Krieger (Soros Fund Management), focusing on expanding raw materials projects in emerging markets.

After HBE, Mr. Berman worked for Hunt Equity Group, where he concentrated on over-the-counter (OTC) commodities markets, with a focus in sugar and metals. His pursuit of professional credentials through the CFA and CAIA programs developed an academic interest in alternative assets and structured products, ultimately leading him to work for Ballard Global, a private credit fund in Miami managed by Jeff Ballard.

At Ballard Global, Mr. Berman is focused on developing the firm’s exposure in middle-market consumer credit throughout North & South America. Outside of his efforts with the firm, Mr. Berman runs his consulting business, Fideles Capital Partners, designed to facilitate the placement of private debt for affiliates in commodities and real estate. Mr. Berman holds a degree from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he was a member of the varsity swim team and a NESCAC conference finalist. He resides in Miami, Florida, and continues to advance his expertise in alternative investments.
