Mr. Georgelas has provided leadership, guidance and management to The Georgelas Group for over 35 years and is CEO and one of the Managing Members. He has expertise in financing and management for all aspects of real estate development. He is a member of the Board of Directors of United Bankshares, Inc. (Nasdaq: UBSI) and was founder of Bank 1st in McLean, Virginia. Mr. Georgelas takes the lead role in all financing and business aspects of The Georgelas Group and has arranged for equity and debt financing in excess of $1.5 billion for a variety of development and construction projects for The Georgelas Group.
